My berner is a grazer, and the olde the gets the less he eats. Now he’s 5 and at the point where he doesn’t even usually touch his food until we get home from work. No food aggression for this pup!

Germans shepherd are hands down one of the most intelligent dog breeds and thrive off routine and structure. They LIVE to please you and are fiercely loyal. My biggest piece of advice is to socialize them as soon as you are clear with vaccines. We socialized our older GSD almost immediately with trusted dogs and publicly once vaccinated and because of that we could literally take him anywhere and he’d behave perfectly. Our young GSD was a Covid pup and didn’t get nearly as much socialization and is pretty anxious around new people and environments. Outside of that prepared to be loved and protected like never before. It’s an experience, but it’s so worth it.
