If Ilia were to move to 170, KO Islam, winning the title and becoming a three-division champion, and then retire, where would he rank on the MMA GOAT list?

Tony Ferguson, Michael Johnson, Diego Ferreira twice, Mateusz Gamrot, Renato Moicano, Drakkar Klose, Drew Dober. ELITE Resume, he may have a glass jaw, but it's time to put some hespec on his name!

If Dustin beats Max, this is a fight to make. Max gave Ilia issues last year and arguably won rounds, if DP is still capable of beating him, that makes an Ilia fight more interesting, also he gave Islam the fight of his life so it's an interesting common opponent to see how Ilia performs against too

hot take: Justin has a way better shot than people think, should he be favored? f**k no, but he's a very good striker (ko'd dustin, outclassed fiziev twice, etc), imo it's not a complete mismatch

Featherweights are so much more skilled than Lightweights it's actually insane, Volk arguably beat Islam and gave him the toughest fight, Conor made Eddie his b!tch, Max schools Justin and Ilia makes Charles look like amateur, different level of skill man, makes these 55ers look like regional scrubs

is Ilia a better 45er or is he a better 55er? at featherweight he was bigger relative to his opponents, but seemed too depleted imo. at 155 he loses his size advantage, but he has THUNDEROUS power and is so much less depleted, seems harder to wrestle too, thøughts?

what are the chances he goes on a losing streak? Tony was 36 when his 8 fight losing streak begun, Charles turns 36 later this year and this was BRUTAL

@danawhite CONFIRMS that @ArmanUfc will NOT be getting the next @UFC Lightweight title shot “no, it's a good step in the right direction let's put it that way.”
Yair Rodriguez (Alexander Volkanovski's next title challenger) has a 1-3 record against fighters under the age of 37 since 2019, his lone win came with an injury against an opponent who finished him in the rematch, he was already dominantly finished by Volkanovski, and is Ortegas only win since 2020
