Same happened to me except it happened at like 4 weeks pregnant and happened two weeks after shutdown from Covid in March of 2020. Nobody would help me, everyone assumed I had covid. I didn't. It was the hormonal change from becoming pregnant. My asthma had been GONE up until I got pregnant like I never even used a maintenance inhaler. Then suddenly i was so out of breath at rest I couldn't even talk without being winded. I finally got with a pulmonologist. I highly suggest having pulmonology on your team with asthma while preggo. I was on symbicort, singulair, albuterol as needed and clariten during allergy season. It helped and I became symptom free! Until the thrush kept reoccurring anf I kept having to use nystatin. Finally at about 16 weeks I said fuck all thus medicine, if I die I die I guess! And I quit using it all(stupid i know!). I was fine the rest of my pregnancy. I now have a 3 and a half year old perfectly healthy smart little boy!

Thank you so much! What a terrible time to be pregnant, I’m sorry you had to go through that! I had a hard enough time finding providers to give me meds pregnant without Covid being a barrier. I just saw a pulmonologist this week and hopefully my current game plan works out. Glad to hear your son is doing so well, I’m so worried about my guy in there! Thanks for your response
