Psych 1105 - did anyone actually use the textbooks for this class? Or can you survive without it?

I have some covid symptoms and so I've been staying home this past week. I have a quiz tomorrow in a class so I emailed the prof to see how I can take the quiz and he said he needs a doctors note. Isn't it still required and noted by the province and MRU to stay home if feeling unwell with symptoms?

I'm registering for classes right now and two of the classes that are required within my core courses are restricted to only of the majors. PHYL 3514 is a core course for athletic therapy and physical literacy, but when registering it says it's restricted to athletic therapy????

Anyone know if you can register for a class with pre req even if you haven't taken the pre req yet? For example, I am registered to take pysc 1105 in spring and I want to register for pysc 2285 in the fall. Because I haven't "taken" pysc 1105 yet even though I'm registered will it let me?
