How many hermit crabs can live in a 55 gallon tank? I'm finding conflicting information online

Second day in a row he’s felt the need to make this crater and empty his food into it 🤦‍♀️

Okay so I’m going to be moving soon I know to put less sand, but for their water I don’t want to actually put water dishes in will they need any or be okay for 15 hours or so ? Or would sponges be okay for a short period of time ?( I know they can harbor bacteria)

Dumb question maybe, but is it safe to put crystals in their enclosure? I just wanna put the humidity and temp reader on it

What is a good size tank for two hermit crabs ? I know I need to upgrade but not sure what to I want what’s absolutely best for them I have one large crab and a smaller one as well

Any leaf litter suggestions? For all over the tank ?

Okay I have 6 inches substrate and the humidity and temperature should go back up. any suggestions other than more shells ? I have new water pools coming as well

Tips for moving with my hermit crabs?

Don’t make the same mistake I did with these pools from Amazon! the water all leaked out within an hour. (I don’t know why I didn’t read the reviews🤦‍♀️)
