Is it worth cancelling my UC claim?

I can't see any obvious advantage to giving up recieving something you're, presumably, entitled to, except perhaps having less dealings with the DWP.

I'm currently employed on a zero hours contract which is office work based and it's a few hours per week, typically earning between £200 and £300.00. As soon as I saw how much my half would be if the rent was split, I instantly felt guilty as that's how much I earn. I do get housing element and because it's taxpayers money, even though I'm signed off for work but try to work when I'm able to, I get a decent basic income which is enough to live off. Part of me feels guilty because this could be going to someone in need.
