there is a lot of 'it depends' here. all of those areas are big, and it depends where exactly in each you'd be based for work, as to what is a convenient suburb.

Thank you this is really helpful! I don’t think walkable to any coast will be in our budget either, we’re currently 3 hours drive from a beach and still do it once a month but ideally we’d love it within 30 minutes. More locally we’d just want amenities that are walkable, which I guess we could find anywhere!

The important question is, where's the office location? I mean there's no point in buying in Sunrise Beach if you need to commute to Nerang every day.

I work in the medical field with “offices” everywhere which is why I have a choice, the more remote, the less offices but they’re everywhere. I also don’t mind a commute up to an hour either so we’re choosing where we’d love to live for location office preference
