How Emotionally stable are you? Take this quick test and find out!
Hey everyone!
I wanted to share something exciting from my workbook on the Big Five Personality Traits (DM me if interested in a free copy), which dives into understanding ourselves better through one of the most widely researched personality models. Today’s focus is on Emotional Stability, one of the key dimensions in the Big Five.
The test in the image is a simple and quick way to reflect on how you handle stress, anxiety, and emotions (it is not a diagnosis by any means - for reflection). Here's how it works:
- For each statement, rate yourself from 0 (Strongly Disagree) to 5 (Strongly Agree).
- Add up your total score to see where you stand:
- Low (0-10): This might mean you experience more emotional highs and lows, and stress could feel overwhelming at times.
- Moderate (11-15): You likely manage emotions well but still experience ups and downs occasionally.
- High (16-25): You probably have a calm and composed demeanor, handling life's challenges with resilience.
The Big Five Personality model is a scientifically-backed framework that measures five key traits: Openness, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness, and Emotional Stability (also called Neuroticism). Understanding where you fall on these traits can giv
you deep insights into your personality, behavior, and even how you interact with others.
This exercise is just one part of the workbook I created to help people explore themselves through this lens. If you're interested in reflecting on your emotional patterns, give this a try and let me know how it went!
Also, feel free to share your score (if you're comfortable!) and your thoughts—I'd love to hear from you all!
