Advice after totalling car
So today the insurance company declared my car a total loss, I'm still waiting for info on the value from them. Based on kbb & edmunds my car was around 24-26k. A 2021 rav4 xle with less than 21k miles, also just had new tires put on 2 weeks ago & fully paid off.
Ive looked around for other cars, used & new. Just to get an idea & to really see what's out there, but I kinda just want another rav4. Even the used rav4s are listed around mid to high $20k's. I have cash I can burn luckily.
I'm currently on vacation, so a car isn't an absolute necessity right now, but once I go back to work I'll need one. But I'd like some advice on just how to deal with the dealership. Should I inquire through e-mail & maybe drag it out some, should I go in look around & walk away in hopes they bring prices down or what? I'm mainly set on wanting another just because it was a good car, not great/fancy/& so on. Also I just liked it, & in that accident I walked away with bumps & some scrapes. Any help/advice is appreciated.
