Hiring Process?

Hey guys so I’ve already gone through the interview process and was offering a job letter contingent based on my background check. They have me a start date but I’m worried that they have already selected a candidate since the workday job listing was once blue and clickable to now greyed out.

Would anyone know what this could mean? Verizon would tell me if they picked someone else right? Or if there were any discrepancies in my background check ? TIA anything helps
