Payment options for us visa scheduling

I'm trying to book a h4 and h1 visa appointment in Mumbai through the US travel docs website and going through the payment step.

First, I realized that I can only see visa appointment slots once the payment needs to be made which is around ~ 410 dollars.

Next, when I try to select the VFS Credit/Debit option and pay the visa fees by entering the US credit card option if seems to just straight up says payment declined not allowing the payment to go through.

Further, it doesn't help that it only gives me one attempt to pay within a day stating that confirmation from the debit card is still pending on the page although it gave me declined message immediately. 😔

Did anyone run into this issue by chance? Any thoughts?
