I’m a player from Asia.
I started playing from Battlefield 3, and I found their game style, pace, sound design, and art direction perfectly suited my taste. I’ve played from Battlefield 3 all the way to Battlefield V, and I must say, they were all amazing and fun to play.
Then came Battlefield 2042. It had almost none of the style of its predecessors. Sure, it was a change, but I could feel it was no longer the style I loved.
I’ve been part of THE FINALS since its first Closed Beta. I participated in CB1, CB2, and the Open Beta. To support the game, I’ve spent roughly $400 in total. It might not seem like much, but this is the game I’ve spent the most money on.
From the trailers of THE FINALS, I got the same feelings as when I first watched the trailers for Battlefield. That sense of excitement, chaos, and tension—all captured using actual in-game footage. There was no false advertising; everything shown in THE FINALS trailers truly happens during gameplay.
Why did I quit?
There are simply too many cheaters, and THE FINALS doesn’t even let me know if the other player is cheating. Sometimes, I even suspect the report system is fake, because I encounter cheaters every single day while playing THE FINALS.
Even the recent snowball mode had cheaters. I personally witnessed a teammate using cheats. As for the Ranked Tournaments? Let’s not even talk about it. If you encounter a cheater, you’re stuck in the match like being in jail, and you can’t even leave mid-game.
Maybe someday, if all the cheaters disappear, I’d consider coming back. But honestly, I don’t think that’s ever going to happen. Some people might question if I’m just bad at the game, but I’d say I’m not terrible either.
THE FINALS is a great game, but the number of cheaters in the Asia region is overwhelming. If anyone doubts me, feel free to hop onto the Asian servers and see for yourself.
