Constellation Taurus - High potential. Very Frustrating.

I'm working my way through the various cargo ship rentals to try out each one. Today was the Constellation Taurus. These are my thoughts on this ship, so feel free to let me know if there are any workarounds to the issues I've run across.

Handling and maneuverability are solid. Better than any dedicated industrial ship I've tried so far. I haven't found myself overshooting on maneuvers like I do with some industrial ships. It also slows down/stops far more easily, making station landings less dangerous.

View isn't bad. Everyone's complained about the horizontal bar, and it's annoying, but overall not bad.

Layout is solid. Only complaint is that the hitbox for the cargo ladder is too large, meaning it's quite easy to accidentally step onto it. And I suppose you CAN get stuck between the cargo boxes and elevator wall, but... well... just don't do that.

Boarding is kind of annoying, waiting for the elevator animation. And I've had one instance of it just not activating. But it's really not any longer than waiting on a Hull A ladder + double door.

Tractor beam is ALMOST a really nice feature. Except that it's too squirrely. The "aim" indicator is a bad color that makes it hard to see in most situations. It's off center to the right, so left and right maneuvers behave differently (try moving it at max rotation in both directions. Very different). And most importantly, the configuration screen doesn't work which prevents you from activating the cargo elevator from it.

Manual Loading/Unloading sequence is.... long. There's a lot of steps involved with the tractor beam, freight elevator, and ship cargo elevator. But having a fixed config screen or splitting duties between pilot + loader would help a lot.

Cargo space is... the big problem.... First, there's no backstop. Without it, it's a bit of a guessing game on whether you've got your box on the farthest back space or if you're just going to accidentally overshoot and have to back up. The 14x4x3 grid also makes it extremely frustrating when most mid-sized cargo missions use 8 SCU boxes. 1/3 of the space is wasted. You CAN fill up that space with 2 and 4 SCU boxes from adding on smaller missions but the gap, like on an Intrepid, is just small enough to be frustrating to do so.
