We’re all narcissists
(20M) I'm about halfway through college and l've noticed something off putting about our own psyche. We make fantasies of our acquaintances (and inevitable friends), as to mold them into mentally concise bricks for the forming of our reality. We might believe we’re great generals who have many soldiers in the building of our philosophy... in modern society I believe these ideas we push onto people are more 'intrapersonal' and off putting than ever, because they're not purely for survival. This is also why it’s hard to make friends these days, because we’re in this matrix of believing we have the answers to reality and ultimately our escape, and only you can be right.
