"Latvius is the son of which apostle?"
I don't know if anyone has thought about the following: For season 5, episode 11, "The Conversion," the church priests ask George to take a test in order to complete his conversion to Latvian Orthodox. Jerry helps him prepare by quizzing him and asks him, "Latvius is the son of which apostle"?
This seems incongruous at first, because while "Latvius" is a variation of the name "Levi" and Levi becomes Matthew in the New Testament after converting to Christianity, Matthew's (Levi) father is Alpheus (also father of James) but Alpheus is not an apostle. However...
There's yet another Levi in the New Testament (book of Luke) who has a son named Matthat, which sounds very much like "Matthew."
All very interesting to me, it's gold— GOLD!
