Is Samsung Always on display Useful?

I have tested the A55 AOD for 3 months now, I gotta say this is the Bad feature for me, Why? First of all it Drains the battery faster, Second Its not even that useful and you Can only check the time only, Plus it like a feature we dont even need, Its just for asthethics.... Well atleast It does have a "ton" of benefits like checking the time, but that is Useless,

Why do we have this?

For me I think the only time we Really Used this is when you want to film something asthethic. But Do you even find big phone reviewers Caring about them? For me I havent Seen a single one that cares about them. this is just based what I watched like. mrwhotheboss and other tech youtubers.

We could have better features to be added than this Useless AOD. Like Focusing on Returning the IR blaster on samsung phones.
