"Do you work here?"

Today I got my favorite "Do you work here?" moment. I was working as a cashier, sitting at my register, you know, as cashiers do. Old man walks up and asks, "Do you work here?" Before asking his question. Nah I'm just a random person in full uniform chilling at a register.
