Jobs in SoCal

I'm an undergrad biology major, interested in becoming a PA or CLS someday and I'm looking at doing a phlebotomy program. I figured this would be a good way to make money while also getting work experience that will help me get into whichever of those programs I decide on when the time comes.

I'm just curious what the job prospects are in this area because I've seen people complain about that in other states. I'm not expecting to work at a hospital right away I'd just like to get an idea of what the job market is like for general phleb jobs.
