Stop debating Trump's dementia. Stop talking about the salute. Stop talking about Tiktok's censorship. START WITH WHAT ACTUALLY MATTERS

These are the theatrics, the distractions, the arguements they want us occupied with. One of the far right's major tactics are shock and anger. They'll intentionally do something or showcase something to anger people to take thier attention away from actual legislation. Hitler took over Germany using thier constitution and I'm worried people will focus to much on the theatrics and not the legislation and give the Right more of a chance to do the same.

Only obsessing on the theatrics and only talking about them in echo chambers is the problem. In spaces like this we really need to focus on what directly impacts people. The theatrics are most important to point out for the public.

Trump having dementia doesn't change things. He's in the White House and Trump isn't even the most dangerous person in this administration. Everyone Trump has appointed and all the billionaires behind him are even more dangerous. His dementia doesn't matter. If we got him out we'd be stuck with Vance and I think he'd be worse.

Elon's salute doesn't change anything either. It just confirms what we already knew. Don't talk about it so obsessively. Acknowledge, condemn, but don't let it distract you. I firmly believe that was meant as a distraction to keep us talking about that while they try to do other things under the radar. Don't forget it happened, it can be evidence but don't let it shift your attention.

Yes Tiktok is even more censored than ever and is kissing Trump's ass. This is also a distraction. Unless talking to someone who's oblivious to the censorship, stop talking about it so much. All of us here know. It's a distraction, keep tabs on what they're trying to hind from us and not the random words they've decided to now flag.

Edit: I do not mean the next bit in a way that targets disabled people or anyone with limitations on what they can do. The majority of people I've seen ask these questions aren't doing anything themselves even though they can, this is directed at them.

"Why don't we do something?" We're trying. Organizing doesn't happen overnight. If you're not doing anything seek out shit to do and get off your ass.

If you are not talking about the things like bills, ice raids, executive orders, proposed bills, Politicians talking about crooked policy stances, and everything else that actually effects people? Don't flood feeds with the theatrics they want us to play into. They want us talking about the bullshit that doesn't actually affect anything so they can get away with more shit while we're distracted.

If you are convinced your voice means nothing. If you're convinced there is nothing you can do, you've fallen victim to far right propaganda. Use your voice. Focus on what matters. Focus on what actual actions you can take. Stop joining in on theatrics.
