Does increasing sodium intake for 2 weeks and then lowering it make a big difference in physique?
I recently saw this video by Mike Israetel which intrigued me. The video recommendations were as follow:
1. "Double sodium, high water + low carbs diet" two weeks before stage time till the day off (or before a beach trip ;).
2. Initially causes bloating but the body adjusts to it in a week.
3. During the stage performace (or beach trip) have normal sodium levels in food. So even if you drink/have a lot of carbs, the body actually sheds more water since this is less sodium than it has become accustomed to over the last 2 weeks. Making you look more ripped rather than bloated which is what happens on these trips.
Has anyone tried this? And how long does the effect last.
