Guest bed/office. Need rug advice but

The cabinet system is the Murphy Bed Depot Majestic Library bed (wouldn’t recommend).

A few questions/areas for advice:

• Do the chairs look okay? I like them in here, but they’re older nicer chairs we can’t seem to let go of, but have no other space or use for them.

• We put the pictured old ruggable down for the time being, but I’m having a hard time finding a rug that would pull the room together (obviously not this blue one). I’m thinking a slightly larger rug would be best too that extends past the queen bed when it is down.

-A frame TV will be hung where the two IKEA boxes, but we are looking for creative ideas for a desk that occupy less of the room. I only use this space as an office 1 day a week.
