Triumph Service Rant

I own a Speed 400 and I feel like everytime I go to the SC in Whitefield Bangalore (Khivraj), the Service Head tries to tell me something or the other will void my warranty. Initially it was outside PPF, which was plain as day them wanting you to get their PPF/graphene coating services done.

The guy's claim was that outside PPF will void paint warranty and guess what? When I checked Triumph India's website's warranty page, there is no paint warranty on their bikes. Same guy also told me removing my saree guard can void my warranty cuz the ABS sensor cable could get cut. He removed it in the end but what a joke of a reason.

What's worse is the redressal system just goes to the manager of the service center and that guy is of no real help either (so much for impartial reviews of conplaints).

My Speed 400 has a right hand pull issue from day 1 and after filing a complaint they kept it for a day and didn't do much, the issue still persisits. I just gave up on getting it fixed cuz I've heard no success stories in this regard.

Finally now my second service is coming up and for some reason these guys calculate the service date from the date of invoice and not delivery.

My bike arrived almost a month later after the initial invoice (and 12 days from the final payment). Is it just me or does that make zero sense? My bike wasn't running for that whole period and now I'm trying to confirm if I need to give it this weekend to keep the warranty (as that's the date on the app).

So, I called the service head 3 times to confirm if that is the case and each time he said he'll call me back and never did. The entire staff at that service center seem pretty apathetic (for lack of a better word).

I once confirmed with three different people if the front fender bottom mud flap extention was in stock (cuz it keeps falling cuz they tape the thing on) and when I got there turns out they didn't have it and I wasted a trip and an hour of my tome there (cuz it took them an hour to realize the part was not there apparently).

The Service Head also told me they couldn't bolt it on cuz the main fender would break if the extention was bolted on. Guess what? I got it bolted on an outside garage and it didn't.

I didn't expect much from the service of any two wheeler manufacturer but I felt atleast TVS had less scummy practices than these guys. These are just the major pain points I've faced, curious about others experiences.
