Confused and in need of some bike purchasing advice.
I have a Thunderbird 500 and have done so for the past 8 years. My daily commute is mostly by car so I need the bike only for weekend rides, touring and occasional city rides. I’m 6’3 and well built so sitting on most naked bikes looks like Hulk sitting on a tripod stool. Looking to upgrade on my Thunderbird now and my initial plan was to go and get something in the 8-10 lakh range because that upgrade is something I wanted to do. My brother forced me to so I reluctantly took a test drive of the Himalayan 450 because I didn’t want to get another RE (nothing against the brand, just that I wanted a taste of something different) but it’s better than I imagined it would be.
Should I still go for something that costs twice as much (I have saved up enough to make the upgrade now) as the Himalayan 450 or should I get the Himalayan even though it’s not the upgrade I initially wanted and save the money?
