Choosy Perfectionist Seeks to Optimize Purse Turducken

[UPDATED] Hi everybody!! Working on my first ‘big girl’ bag ecosystem. I’ve been at this puzzle for weeks now, and have figured out several things I like and don’t.

I’m chiefly interested in quality and having my needs met. I’m willing to pay for it, but I’d prefer to keep this whole ordeal under 2k. I’m also open to lower-priced options! My only general ‘no’ is ostentatious branding.

Small purse Stuff to hold: * Cardholder (go with zipper option to carry a little cash/coins occasionally?) * Keycard * Keys (small) * Phone * The occasional lip balm/gum/menstrual product

Leather * Preferably not natural finish/patina look * Preferably textured/tumbled for durability, but open to smooth:)

Colors * Hardware in gold! Any texture/finish :) * Could be persuaded into a rose gold if it had a truly classic look. * Preferably earthy, rich, warm, or vibrant colors (like an autumn seasonal palette type color)

Features needed * Top handle/s and shoulder/crossbody adjustable strap * Magnetic closure, preferably all the way across the top not just a strap * No flap tops don’t wanna be fighting all that * No zip closures, they scratch the backs of my hands (unless you know of some fancy rounded zippers that don’t!) * Feet would be nice

[SIMPLIFIED] Work bag: - feet - travels (zips across top, can fit small purse inside occasionally) - not black, or too light colored - built-in organization - medium or wide strap in addition to handles

I think something with a built-in laptop zipper pouch down the middle would work, but please leverage any expertise or experience you may have and advise away!

(Edit: additional context) For the work bag, I really only need one electronics pouch, appreciate robust water bottle holders when present, and need enough room to temporarily stick my little purse in there when travelling by plane (for compliance with the ‘one personal item only’ rule). I also just really don’t wear black, should have mentioned. Thanks!

✨Update: I went with the Polène ATLA card holder in Camel, and am planning on the Strathberry Mosaic Nano color TBD. Now all that’s left is to find something that’s pretty much exactly like the midi KAAI pyramid without the controversy…
