SOLUTION: Drivehub Disconnecting if using Fanatec or other DD bases with Dual Shock 4 Controller.

So finally figured this out last night, and wanted to post this up for anyone having the same problem to see - been using a GT DD Pro for the last week with a set of T-LCM Pedals while I wait for a set of V3's to ship, and been plagued with the wheel and pedals becoming unresponsive after about 8-15 minutes, sometimes sooner. Didn't want to buy the Hori wired controller as I know I'm not going to need it soon as the new pedals arrive, but was driving me mad disconnecting on the last lap of every other race and getting yeeted into a wall. Was digging around some different forums and articles, and stumbled across an old CronusMax .pdf which says to jump into your PS settings and "forget" / disconnect from the system any controller you're using with the hub.

Low and behold, played for a few hours after I did that with an extra DS4 controller I had laying around, and had zero issues. Currently have this tested on a PS4 but don't think it would be any different for PS5.

All you have to do is jump into PS Settings -> Devices -> Bluetooth, and then tap the options button on whatever controller you're not using to select "forget" (iirc).

This might be a better situation if you have a spare controller laying around, but even if you only had one, you'd just have to re-pair it whenever you're not using the drive hub. I think it circumvents having it disconnect with the console looking for the bluetooth signal and eventually untethering at some point, but honestly I have no clue and could care less so long as this keeps working. Hopefully helps you guys out , and saves you from ending up with more junk around the house!
