How much does an oil change cost?

Kinda weird question ik. Me and my friend bought new cars. He bought it from BMW and for some reason he can only change the oil at BMW(don't really know if that's true). The entire thing(oil,filters and the manual work) costed him over 1000 euro. When I heard this I was like "what the fuck". In our country the whole thing is 100-150 euro with expensive oil too. I have to change my oil in 28 days(my VW warned me), and have to go to my country in 10 days, meaning when I come back I need to change it.I want to know a reference price for Germany so if it's expensive I could change it in my country. My car is newer than his, and I don't have to abide by some weird rules. I can change the oil wherever I want.
