How do I start growing Spider Lillies and Dicentra's?

I've never gardened before but I want to try growing some flowers to easy my mind a bit and my favorite so far are spider lillies, dicentra's, hydrangeas, and orchids. Since I don't really have room for the last 2, I decided on the red spider lillies and or dicentra's. The only problem is, I have no idea how to start. I tried looking for seeds online but I only found bulbs and I don't know what that means. If there's any tips tricks or advice you having for growing them I would be extremely greatful, and if you have any recommendations for other flowers that would be helpful as well!
