S o Felix Manalo left the Catholic church because he could not read the bible

I heard that INC members are not allowed to read the bible because it can mess up the minds of their followers. Isn't that the reason why Felix Manalo also left the Catholic church because he could not study the bible on his own? I have classmates who are INC and became less fanatical once they started reading the bible and they started questioning their doctrines.
