Bioactive Plants Help

Hi, I’ve had my corn in a bioactive set up for months now and the CUC are doing well and so are some of the plants.. but not all lol.

I don’t have a grow light and was looking to invest in one of those but wasn’t sure what one to get. Do I have to get a jungle dawn or are there cheaper alternatives that are just as good?

Also, what plants do other people use because I’ve had such trouble keeping them alive it’s a nightmare lol. I’m from the UK if that makes a difference.
