Deep Winter vs. Deep Autumn

What colors are awful on Deep Autumns but divine on Deep Winters? And vice versa?

For example, I look good in plum but bad in royal purple. On the other hand, I look great in a wintery pale yellow but bad in a mustard yellow.

I'm trying to decide between the two and thought deal breaker colors would help. However, I've also read that palettes can overlap on certain people, so now I'm just confusing myself.
