Should I get my guitar set up?

I started learning classical guitar several years ago but put it away after breaking both of my arms, never got back into it. I've decided I would like to get back into it and start lessons but I'm unsure if I should pay for a setup on the guitar. New strings sure, and I already have those. After tuning it I played up and down the fret board and there's no buzzing but I don't remember what the action used to be or if this is acceptable. Thoughts?

As a uni student if I can save the 100 bucks and not do a set up I would prefer that.
