Switching from sicilian to caro

Does it make sense to switch from sicilian to caro? My winrate with sicilian is not great and I feel like white can pretty much throw anything at me and I have to be super accurate to not be worse. People very rarely go for open sicilian which I study the most (I play classical sicilian) and most of the time I'm either seeing closed sicilian, alapin, smith morra, bowdler attack and this is just annoying to play because white has easy play. Caro looks way more solid with a clear plan for a middle game and most of the time better endgame structure. So my question to people who made the switch, was it worth it?
