Mini Update: Something Wrong with my Cat's eye?
Hey guys, so I made a post a couple of hours ago on my cat Furball. I just went and checked on her and her one eye, the one that the pupil looked blown, is acting normally, so that tells me it's not a brain bleed which is what I was worried the most about. I did do some more research and I came across something called progressive retinal atrophy which is what I think this may be, so I feel a little better.
I'm still going to try and get her in to see a vet as soon as possible. Unfortunately, it seems our nearest 24 hour vet hospital is closed permanently because I can't find it and the nearest one now is over an hour away, and the ones labeled a vet hospital are closed and don't open until business hours. I live in a rural area.
She is still alive though, I've been checking on her every couple of hours. Also, concerning the other eye with the eyelid issue, it seems to be shrinking and going back to normal. I'm still going to keep an eye on her. Also, I messaged my cousin who use to work at the vets office and had Furball as a patient before, so she is familiar with her. I'm just waiting until she wakes up and see it.
