My cat gets mad when I’m on the phone

I talk on the phone a lot to family members in the evenings after work and every single time my cat is around and he hears my phone ringing to call someone he starts meowing and comes up to me and bites me lol, he gets really mad. Has anyone else experienced this? It’s just so odd. He HATES to hear the phone ringing and he specifically hates when I’m on speaker phone with someone! Plz tell me someone else can relate 🤣
