Cpu suggestion since 9800x3d is out of stock everywhere

Was hoping to get a 9800x3d but can't find it anywhere in the UK and from the way things look it will be available way after January.

Looking at the 7800x3d it feels wrong to give the same price for something 10-15% worse.

So was thinking of maybe just getting something cheaper thats good enough for now.

I can currently get a 7600x for 180 pounds instead of the 7800x3d 480 pounds.

Was thinking of just getting this and maybe in the future getting the 9800x3d when it's actually in stock.

What's the performance difference like between the 7600x and the 7800/9800 x3d?
