My choice between Clozapine and ECT

Hello friends. Im a 21 year old that's struggling with a really hard decision.

Last year I was on Clozapine and a couple other meds as my treatment. I LOVE Clozapine but not what it did to my body. I gained 90 pounds and my body hasn't been the same since. Recently it was decided that my bipolar has become treatment resistant to everything but Clozapine. Im currently on higher doses of Abilify, Seroquel and Lithium along with a few other meds and there's been no relief. I just came out of a four month long manic episode, followed by a pretty heavy depression and we increased meds during this time but obviously it didn't help. My doc and I have talked about ECT as treatment option. My only qualm is that we're trying to move right now and I wouldn't be able to work. I need some advice about ECT. Could people that have used it as a treatment option, tell me what it's like? What should I expect? If all else fails we have Clozapine but id have to be so careful what i eat as I don't want to gain anymore weight. I loved that medication and what it's done for me but aah i can't do it again. I look like a completely different person after the weight gain. And i've struggled so much with my body confidence as a result of all this. So now I'm left with the choice of Clozapine or ECT. Any info would be of great help.
