AI to summarize research Articles

I have been trying to get chat GPT to summarize research articles but i've run into some obstacles. When I provide a link to the free articles whether it is HTML or PDF url, it creates a summary on an entirely different article. When I give it the full title article, I get a little closer, but the data does not match the article, the name of the journal is incorrect and the authors are incorrect. Although the gist of the article is accurate. I was trying to see if there was I way I could upload the pdf myself for it to be analyzed, but haven't found a way to do that.
