CEO responds to questions about lack of inflation payrise by saying try for other jobs here - but HR refuse to say what the salaries are

That's a total joke! How can people improve pay with another job at the company when they refuse to say what they pay? Is it going to be a case of try for another job then we'll work out the salary for it based on what you're already on?
