Unpopular Opinion: John Cena DOES NOT need to be in a championship match at Wrestlemania! ❌️

I know there's a lot of Cena marks around here who want to see him face Cody Rhodes or Gunther at Wrestlemania for a championship..... but it shouldn't happen at all!

Cena has long reached the point in his career of not needing another championship, nor does he need to take the main event spotlight away from other contenders.

If he were to face Cody Rhodes at Mania, it could potentially have a reverse effect on Cody with all the fans turning against Cody and booing him. We don't need another "passing of the torch" moment at Mania when we already saw it last year.

If he faces Gunther, it would either result in an unnecessary loss for Cena with Gunther retaining (which nobody wants) or an unnecessary title reign for Cena that would only last a couple days...... all the while killing the credibility of other contenders.

I'd much rather have Cena compete against another hated heel character like Logan Paul or Jacob Fatu for Wrestlemania. It'd be much better for everyone!
