Unlimited Express Pass vs. Single Rider Lines

I'm going to Universal Orlando and IoA in early August by myself and I was wondering if I should buy the Unlimited Express Pass or if utilizing the single rider lines will be fine to get me through ride lines faster. I noticed that every crowd tracker says that early August will probably be pretty busy. This is going to be my first time at the Orlando location and I'm only going to have 1 day for both parks so I just want to make sure I have time to do everything I want to since I probably won't be back for a long time.
