Main characters who throughout the story have/develop an actual threatening/evil aura

Mostly just piggy backing off of a previous thread. Was thinkong of Gon in the chimera ant arc and how its my favorite example of a character "growing up" in the worst way possible, see this for the first time gave me a weird sense of intimidation like a rabid animal powering up only to eventually choke on its own froth and die. Another short example would be Joel from Last of us not in the sense that he's scary but more that he develops into a monster. any examples come to mind?
