I got tired of my husbands stupid questions and lied about suffering from hearing loss due to birth trauma. Now he wants me to get an hearing aid.

Well the title pretty much describes it. My husband is the king of stupid questions. He will get something from the pantry and ask me what the expiry date is. It's literally in your hands just check?! He pulls a box from the refrigerator and asks me what's inside.... just open the lid and look!!! All day every day he will ask me questions about things he can easily answer himself.

Well it didn't bother me much because he is a really good person at heart and a cutie but ever since having a baby I just don't have the patience and energy for that.

So I told him that during the endless hours of Labour, the pushing and the c-section caused a loss of hearing. Since he was with me all the time during Labour and saw how much I suffered, he absolutely believed it.

Now I have been ignoring all the stupid questions and nonchalantly telling him that I am sorry but I didn't hear what he said.

He slowly stopped asking questions now but he is worried that I will go completely deaf in a few years and urges me to go to an ear doctor.

Well, I didn't think this trough well enough and I am running out of excuses why I can't go to the doctor now.
