How do I ask my crush her sexuallality?

She's the year below me but we're only 2 months apart (I'm August and she's october). I don't know her sexuality so i don't know weather she will be into me too. I don't want to just text her and ask 'do you like girls or guys or both or neither' because that feels insensitive and rude. Us there a way to subtly ask? I don't know weather this is the right sub reddit for this, if someone recommends one please say. Thanks for reading
