Teaching Residency?

im feeling conflicted. recently, I was accepted into a teaching residency in kentucky that would help me get a masters in elementary education and then place me in a school. it’s a 5 year commitment. but with the way education has been going i’ve been debating

i’m 24, female, and i’ve been in early childhood education for the last 5 ish years. i’ve outgrown it. I recently quit my childcare job and have been looking for something new until the residency begins. The residency starts July 1st if I choose to go through with it but I also have an interview to be an administrative assistant for a healthcare company. If I take the residency, I would want a job I could easily ghost after a month, but if I don’t, then the administrative job would also be a great long term opportunity.

If you have a masters in elementary education how has your experience been? is pursuing education long term worth it anymore?
