What happened to the Aldanhi cash?

I may be just an idiot, but what actually happened to all the money from Aldanhi? I just never understood why Luthen didn’t help Mon Mothma out when he had millions of credits. I get that it’s for the rebellion but couldn’t she at least borrow some for the time while the Imperials check the accounts?
