Am i charging too much for my SaaS?
I’ve developed a cloud platform, so obviously i have some big competitors like icloud and google,
where my platform stands out is it’s an early adopter of being able to search through videos for specific scenes, and i mean user stored videos, photos will also be added,
you could search mountain and have access to every mountain within your videos in an instant, no scrubbing, no tags, etc..
Apple charges $10 for 2tb if i’m not wrong,
I charge $33 for 1tb,
now i’d love to be able to charge what apple charges, or even lower, but for my machine learning pipelines to run, and process all the data coming in, there’s a substantial need for gpus, and such costs need to be covered…
so i can’t afford to have my platform priced so low. at least yet… now i’m trying to figure if i’m gonna need to add more features to my platform to make up for this, maybe some project management and chat features for example, search by sound,
i also got an idea from someone to make my platform a middle man for content creators and video editors…
open to any and all suggestions people..
