December Roundup

Hi friends, here’s a roundup of some December outfits! Please excuse the poor quality photos from insta stories, it’s often the only thing I captured this month due to being so busy. Trying to get more real, outfit photos in the new year! A quick recap:

1 & 2 - we throw an annual Solstice party, and I always take the excuse to wear this Selkie dress. Everything else is vintage, thrifted or handmade. I’ve fully embraced outfit repeating especially for special events as part of my signature style.

3 & 4 - I just thrifted this fun red coat with some Xmas gift money. I’m so excited because I’ve stalked several expensive bright red coats for years. This is a perfect replacement for $18 and is washable! This look was for Christmas Eve errands, friend lunch, and an afternoon brewery party.

5 & 6 - Wore this for a day running my shop and a night doing tarot readings at a local bar. I have a monthly tarot gig there and always try to dress up a bit to stand out and make it clear that I’m working. This is also entirely secondhand except the jewelry and tights.

7 & 8 - Working & lounging in my favorite Christmas sweatshirt. Betty Boop says “Put it on the plastic!” Also entirely thrifted except the jewelry.

9 - Birthday drinks outfit in my birthday gift secondhand Louboutins. I have to practice walking in them!

10 - An outfit combo I have on repeat. Still all secondhand.

11 - Another Taylor Swift themed dance night! The shoes and earrings were new.

Overall I was very happy with my outfits this month and found it easy to get dressed because I do well with a theme. I repeated a lot of outfits since it’s my one month of the year to wear everything Christmassy. Now that festive dressing is over I’m looking ahead to how I want to dress in the new year. I don’t expect huge changes, just more editing and refinement and some strategic shopping. More on that in another post as I contemplate my year in review. I hope everyone is having a lovely week of holidays!
