There should either be a nfc chip for newer bags or a sticker tag that would display the bags serial number. It’s either one or the other, never both. I tend to ask first if the bag is chipped or tagged as higher tier reps won’t make that mistake in implementing both in a single bag. Asking for pics of the inside would be the easiest way to check for those who care about quality and the “finer” details.
