Hiding a dog bite

Hi everyone! I work with dogs and a few months ago I was bitten on the face by a rescue. It broke my veneers and left a hole between my eyes. It has healed well despite being lumpy for a couple of months, but it’s now stopped improving daily and so I think the scar is here to stay.

I’m going to get some over the counter scar ointments to try because it’s not awful or huge, I’ve just been feeling a little self conscious because of where it is. If the ointments don’t work and I decide to go down the route of treatments, can anyone recommend the most effective options for this scenario?

I think knowing that I have options will help me relax, but I am aware that I’m probably jumping the gun a bit. Thanks in advance ✌️
