DDJ 400 sound Freeze help

Hello. Im new here with controllers and djing. If someone can help would be great. I just bought pioneeer DDJ-400 my first controller and I used it first time yesterday professionaly on a beach bar. I use it with the purchased version of virtual dj and my laptop is lenovo yoga slim 7. During the night 3-4 times the speakers sounded like distorting the noise or freeze for a moment. I think the virtual dj also was looking like freezing for some seconds. Could you please help me understand what is the problem maybe and what I can do? I never had a problem playing only with home version of virtual dj and computer only.
